Adam Crowe - Music Director
Music Director Adam Crowe is from the small town of Guin, Alabama. He began music studies at the age of 11 and later attended the University of Alabama where he studied with J. Michael Dunn, former tubist with the U.S. Marine Band and Alabama Symphony Orchestra. In 1999 Adam joined the U.S. Coast Guard Band as tubist and has often been a featured soloist, most recently having commissioned and premiered works by composers Anthony O'Toole and James Stephenson. He is principal tuba in the New Haven Symphony and principal Eb bass with the New England Brass Band. He has also appeared as conductor on the Coast Guard Band's Academy Concerts, Chamber Players, and School Concerts series. Adam has been Music Director for Classic Brass since 2003.
